Perspective & the Problems of Privilege part 2

Never doubt that there are spirits alternately laughing at and with you, supporting you, egging you on, helping you walk on eggs and sometimes throwing egg in your face.
After my last post about feeling the angsty-post-Christmas blues I simply had to laugh at this over the top take on privilege in the form of an invitation to a bbq (that I received from a friend in Uganda no less).

Perspective is a good thing. So is chasing after things that can’t be caught.

Hi Lee-anne. When do we leave?? Might I add . . .knowing when to chase and perhaps allowing ourselves to be caught . . .in the moment, taking a breath and knowing what really matters.

It’s alluring isn’t it. I love your notion about allowing ourselves to be caught. Caught up in the moment, like wild time. Ironic too how we have to remind ourselves to do something so natural as breathing. Talk about ying and yang; do you know what triggers us to breath in? It’s not our body’s need for oxygen but rather our body signaling that we have too much CO2. I love the message wrapped up in that.
